Welcome to the Learning Resource Center (LRC),

I attended Illinois State University, in Normal, where I received my bachelor’s in education, with a middle school endorsement in language arts. I earned my master’s in educational leadership from Aurora University, in Aurora, Ill., in 2003 and my library media specialist endorsement in 2007 from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb.

I taught fifth grade at Old Post Elementary School when I joined the district in 2000. I was a part of the opening team at fourth grade for The Wheatlands Elementary School in 2001. As the district continued to grow, I made another move and helped to open Wolf’s Crossing Elementary School in 2004 as part of the fourth grade team. I joined the LRC team at Wolf’s Crossing in 2013 as the library media specialist, and I'm enjoying every minute of it!

I'm looking forward to a fabulous year full of fun books and ever changing technology.
